Friends, Family and Fans of Chuck's Art
Welcome
Chuck was a remarkable individual who touched our hearts with his endless passion for making. It didn't really matter if he was creating with a pen, or a camera, or a set of legos, he did so with a cathartic focus that most can only dream of. This site is here to celebrate his journey as an artist and to showcase the unique perspective that he showed of the world around us. He was a person of phenomenal talents, and yet he thought little of the beauty that he so easily created. He was always there for his family without a second thought, and has supported every one of us with a selflessness that is rare in this world.
Throughout the time he spent in the mountains he developed an amazing talent for photography. He worked hard at this skill for years learning to capture the world through a very different perspective than most ever see it. Chuck had a strong wanderlust and was exceptionally connected to nature. It gave him a sense of calm that he didn't find in many other places. He enjoyed exploring the world around him, from the most desolate forest, to the heavily painted streets of Asheville, he loved finding a different way to look at these landscapes and shared this with us through his camera.
He has developed an amazing array of beautiful images , many that have been on display in local galleries and adorning many of the houses of the Wolf Laurel. He transformed ordinary scenes into extraordinary works of art. His keen eye for beauty, whether in the smallest details or the vast landscapes, left us in awe and inspired us to appreciate the art that surrounds us daily.
